BUDGET & FINANCE - Association

The Budget and Finance committee shall be responsible for preparing and reviewing the budget and for making recommendations to the Association Board of Directors. The Treasurer shall be the Chairman of the Committee.
BY-LAWS & POLICY: - Association
Identifies and evaluates issues of legal liability relevant to the real estate industry and recommends methods of reducing or eliminating such liabilities. Additionally, the committee explores and recommends methods of practices, which can result in reducing the risk of exposure to legal problems by the membership including working with the Professional Development Committee to educate and assist the members of the Association on the Fair Housing Laws and the Affirmative Marketing Program according to the Affirmative Marketing Agreement.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH - Association
The Committee shall be responsible for all General Membership Meetings, Outings, and other social events for the Association or Chapter. This committee will select all dates and locations of functions. The Committee shall be responsible for raising funds to support the Southeastern Border Charitable Foundation and raising funds to support it
DIVERSITY & INCLUSION/FAIR HOUSING - Association
The Diversity & Inclusion Committee promotes equal opportunity and cultural diversity, equity and inclusion within SEBAR and the communities we serve. Plans annual recognition of Fair Housing month and promotes Fair Housing compliance throughout the year.
LEGISLATIVE/GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS (RPAC) - Chapters
To review all legislative and political affairs for the Association or Chapter and all active members and any action that may be needed to the Association Board of Directors for approval and shall be responsible to ensure the Association is meeting its State and National RPAC goal.
GRIEVANCE/PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS - Association
* (must attend the Professional Standard workshop on a bi-annual basis)
The Grievance Committee shall investigate all complaints received by the Association and shall function as provided in the Michigan Association Code of Ethics and Arbitration Manual.
MEMBERSHIP/MEMBER SERVICES - Association
Develops programs to promote membership in the Association, monitors needs and concerns of the members, identify activities to increase current members' satisfaction, and oversees advertising in the D Profile and other publications as well as awards.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - Association
The Professional Development Committee shall have the responsibility of providing general educational program and projects, including cooperating with the extension services of the colleges and universities, and other Associations; also, to provide educational service for all new and active members.
YPN – Association - Association
The YPN Committee is a newer committee still in the planning stages, however ideas/responsibilities include, partnering with other committees to help with events, create social media posts/videos, etc., meet n greets, create monthly “show” like a “Wake up with YPN”, raise money and awareness for RPAC, promote and help new agents get acclimated to the Association/events.
